HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ONE HOUSE BEADS JEWELRY & KEEPSAKES?
In order to extend the vibrancy of your OHB jewelry, don't wear when showering and swimming. Avoid contact with perfume & chemicals. Never use chemical jewelry cleaners as these will do more harm than good. For light cleaning, gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid scratching. Sterling silver, pewter, & copper will tarnish over time, so we recommend a product called Sunshine Cloths to polish those metals. Store in a cool, dry place.
HOW DO I SIZE MY CUFF BRACELET?
Our aluminum cuff bracelets should be adjusted to size the first time you wear it. They should not be pulled apart each time that you take it on and off. This will cause stress on the metal and can break over time. To properly put on your cuff, find the narrowest part of your wrist and place the opening of the cuff on the thumb side of your wrist. Slide it on while turning your arm into the bracelet until it is correctly positioned. Reverse this process to remove the cuff. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOLD PLATED & GOLD FILLED?
Gold plated and Gold Filled metals both use a core of base metals. Gold Plated metal has a plating essentially painted onto it. On gold filled metals, the gold layer is bonded to the base metal. The outer layer of gold on a gold filled piece will last much longer and is the next best thing to solid gold. Plating will wear off over time, OHB uses quality gold plated materials.
WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY OPTIONS?
All items are shipped from Maryland via USPS in a padded envelope. All orders of in-stock items are shipped within 2 business days of cleared payment. Most hand stamped items are made to order, please allow one week production time. If you live close to the Crofton, MD area, you can choose the local pickup option in the shipping dropdown menu. Please enter a valid email address so that we can reach out and tell you that your purchase is ready.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?
We do offer refunds or exchange for items in their original condition provided you contact us within 10 days of receiving your item(s) in order to process a return or exchange. If there is a problem with the product, shipping will be paid for by One House Beads. If One House Beads is not responsible for the reason of return, then the customer assumes all shipping responsibilities. There are no refunds on custom pieces or sizes.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Delivery Tracking and Confirmation is added to every U.S. Shipment. The tracking number will be provided in the shipment notification email that will also include a link to check the status of the shipment. Check your junk folder for this email. One House Beads is not responsible for late packages through the USPS. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
